PC(USA) Attacked by Zotob?

Today I did not get much done a work because our network was attacked by a vicious virus or a bot-worm, shutting down the entire network. Everyone was gossiping about how it spread, where it came from etc. but no one really knew.

Later on today I read this article and saw this photo. The photo of the screen shot looks almost identical to what my warning/error prompts looked like. Were we attacked by Zotob?

Apparently it wasn't just us. CNN reported that Microsoft is in 'emergency response' as worm reported on three continents.

You think it is time my work updated our OS's? Dianna (best boss in the world ... wink wink), if your reading this, I WANT TO GET A MAC! Is it too late to ask?

More photos:
[01] [02] [3] ... lots more

P.S. 4 months till my birthday.

UPDATE

I was unable to work on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Last thing I heard was that they needed to rebuild my entire harddrive. Hopefully all of that will be done by Monday (tomorrow) so I can get back to work - I am going to be so behind!

Hey Thommy, you have a great blog here. PC(USA) Attacked by Zotob? caught my eye and I thought I would put a post on it. I'm looking for help.

The site I have is a work from home in the uk site. Its all about, need I say it, working from home. I think people should have the choice to build their own income instead of somebody else’s. Freedom of well being and all of that...anyway I was on your site looking for ways to help my business. I'm really looking for ways of building better rapport between recruits.

Anyways Thommy thanks for the great blog. I'll just have to carry on my search till I find what I'm looking for. Take care.
