These Persians look thirsty ...

Paz and I saw 300 over the weekend and we were very impressed. I was glad I got to see it on the big screen and I'll probably end up buying it on DVD when it comes out to see all the extra stuff. Let me say that it wasn't incredible by any means, but the computer generated landscapes and atmosphere were beautiful. Xerxes (the leader of the persian army) was a little cheesy -- especially his fake deep voice. The non-stop battle scenes were intense and gory. This film makes Braveheart look like a elementary school playground scuffle.
